Claire's inspiration for residential interior design is influenced by both her English Heritage, love of European antiquities and contemporary architecture. Her artistic journey began when she graduated from the Chelsea School of Art and Design in London, UK with a degree in interior architecture. After moving to California, Claire drew inspiration from her expansive European travels as these experiences helped her develop her love of style and color while influencing her architectural details and designs with firms from Laguna Beach to San Francisco and finally to Seattle.
Seattle is now Claire’s home and she has embraced the contemporary Pacific Northwest style, of livable and beautiful rooms. Collaborating with clients, Claire draws upon her artistic background in color, materials and architecture, to redesign, remodel or consult on design details on everything from entire homes to a favorite room, with results that are logically pulled together and comfortably sophisticated.
Claire works closely with architects, contractors and other designers, on services ranging from individual elevations and plans to spatial arrangements and curated furnishings. Her proficiency in architectural detailing and drawings allows her to create for her clients a personal design that blends their preferences with the architectural integrity of their home.
Claire believes it's not about repeating the same designs over and over or going with the trends that are hot now but creating a fresh, unique, and timeless style to embrace the space that they call home. Claire loves to take time to get to know her clients on a personal level so that their vision is a story that can be told in their own space.
Claire Guest Studios serves the greater Seattle area and surrounding communities including Bellevue, Kirkland, Mercer Island, Woodinville, Issaquah, and more.
